Gun Adapters
5.56mm
The 5.56 belt feed weapons typically do not have features to connect a feed chute. SAI has designed a Ammunition Feed Adapter that securely connects to the weapon and provides attachment points for the flexible feed chute.
SAI currently offers Ammunition Feed Adapters for:
- M249
- FN’s Mk46
Adapters for other weapons can be designed as needed.
7.62mm
Feed Adapters connect to the weapon and provide mounting points for the feed chute. Feed Adapters can also be incorporated into the feed chute to eliminate separate pieces. Currently feed adapters are available for:
- M60
- MAG58
- M240
- FN’s Mk48
.50 Cal / 12.7mm
The Feed Adapter connects to the M2 or M2A1, it provides a connection point for the Flexible Feed Chute. Adapters are designed to have the feed chute approach the weapon from different directions (i.e. the side bottom or top). Link Eject Adapter provides connection point for Link Eject Chutes. Adapters can be designed specifically for the customer and their needs.
